Why I love this job

Creativity

I've always looked at what surrounds me with a different, creative eye. A perspective that encompasses multiple solutions. I'm fascinated by the idea that each project is a world to explore, to discover, and that it gives me the opportunity to create something new, beautiful, functional, and different. Above all, I love seeing the enthusiasm and satisfaction of those who view the final result of a custom-made project.

Approach

I believe in design that communicates with minimal elements and in attention to detail. My approach combines extensive research and thought. Whether it's a brand, a creative direction, or an editorial project, my goal is always the same: to create a project that not only stands out but actually works.

Collaboration

I've been fortunate to work with extraordinary teams who have pushed my creativity beyond my wildest dreams. I enjoy discovering new places as well as new people and personalities: for me, every collaboration is a dialogue that opens up creative possibilities and delivers complete, balanced, and authentic results.

My background

My name is Karen Andrea, I’m based in Verona, Italy, and I’m a compulsive traveller with the soul of an aesthete: I look for beauty in everything, yes, even in the most irresistible packaging.

Graphic design captured me at the age of 12, and I’ve never been able to let it go since. It’s a crazy, creative world that never stops evolving. I graduated with honours from NABA in Milan and began my professional journey as a video maker at a multinational company, before moving into creative agencies and working as an art director. Over the years, I’ve collaborated with brands across a wide range of industries, from food to beauty, creating advertising campaigns for social, digital and TV.

I’ve coordinated photo shoots, spent countless hours on post-production, and continue to create original content for social media. In recent years, I’ve also developed a new passion: designing highly customised websites that are made to feel truly unique.

I love working alongside people with different skills and perspectives: designers, photographers, copywriters and developers. I believe the best ideas come from dialogue, listening and exchanging points of view, bringing together different talents to create projects with a voice of their own.
